Gianluca di Marzio is reporting that AC Milan are looking to schedule a meeting with Mino Raiola to discuss the renewal of star goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma who current deal expires in the summer of 2021. The report indicates that the negotiations will open in July. Paolo Maldini reportedly informed the keeper of the club’s desire to negotiate the new deal after the game against Lecce last week.

Donnarumma earns a monstrous 6 million a year salary which will be the major point to address in the impending negotiations. Yesterday, Maldini said to DAZN via Sempre Milan, “It is certainly Milan’s duty to try and keep hold of an important player like Gigio, for what he represents as a symbol, a player who came up through our youth academy and, in my humble opinion, because he is the best goalkeeper in the world.”
