Sevilla are now liable to pay around €24m plus bonuses for Milan loanee Suso after they qualified for the Champions League.
Suso joined Sevilla on loan in January, with the condition that the deal would become permanent if they finished in La Liga’s top four.
That has now been rubberstamped after Real Sociedad beat Villarreal 2-1 earlier this evening.
The 26-year-old has managed one goal and two assists in 18 appearances for Julen Lopetegui’s side in his half-season with them.
Suso moved to Milan in January 2015 for just €1.3m as his contract with Liverpool had entered its final six months.
He scored 24 times and set up 36 in his 153 games for the Rossoneri, winning a Supercoppa.
